A monthly gathering for adults exploring neuroqueering through creativity, connection, and community.
Neuroqueering is the practice of questioning norms that limit authenticity, expression, belonging, and human flourishing.
Many of us spend years adapting ourselves to fit spaces that were never designed with all brains, bodies, identities, and ways of relating in mind. We learn to blend in, explain ourselves, shrink parts of who we are, or carry the exhausting work of translating ourselves for others.
The Adult Neuroqueer Collective is a monthly online gathering for people interested in exploring more authentic, creative, and connected ways of being. Participants may identify as neurodivergent, queer, gender diverse, questioning, highly sensitive, or wonderfully unconventional—or simply feel drawn to the practice of neuroqueering.
Through guided expressive arts, meaningful conversation, reflection, and shared experiences, we explore identity, expression, relationships, community, and what becomes possible when we loosen the grip of expectations that no longer serve us.
This is not therapy. It is a space for curiosity, creativity, connection, and belonging.
You do not need to be an artist. Just bring your journal, your expression tools, your favorite stim toy, your emotional support animal, your curiosity—or simply yourself.

Online Expressive Arts Group for Neurodivergent Kids — 8 Weeks

Let’s Play! is a small, live online expressive arts group for neurodivergent kids ages 8–11.
Across eight weeks, we’ll make things, invent, play, move, tell stories, share interests, and follow ideas wherever they lead.
Kids are invited to participate in ways that work for them. There is no right way to make the art, join the conversation, or be part of the group.
Registration includes:
8 live, one-hour Zoom sessions
A small, closed group where kids get to know the same people week after week.
A $95 Let’s Play! Art on Purpose™ kit
Shipped to your home before the group begins, with materials we’ll use for making, playing, inventing, experimenting, and creating together. Also includes 5 Make Art on Purpose invitations with QR codes that guide kids into playful, self-directed creative experiences in between sessions.
Weekly expressive arts invitations
Art, storytelling, games, movement, music, characters, collaborative play, and plenty of room for kids’ ideas to take us somewhere unexpected.
Characters on Purpose
Kids can create original characters throughout the group. With permission, their creations can be featured in the Characters on Purpose gallery on the Different On Purpose website, and one character from each Let’s Play¡ session will be invited to join the official Characters on Purpose collection.
A small neurodivergent-affirming community
A space where kids can move, fidget, look away, get excited, take time to answer, participate differently, and connect without having to perform the “right” way to be in a group.
